etc., please contact us with your requirements, and we will quote you a
price based on the size of your project after you have submitted your material.
FICTION MANUSCRIPTS
We accept only completed manuscripts. Our standard fee for this critique and evaluation service is $285.00.
If you have written a novel, or a book of short stories, then choose this option when requesting a free quote.
NON-FICTION MANUSCRIPTS
We accept only completed
manuscripts. Our normal fee for this critique and evaluation service
is $250.00.
If you have written an informational book,
a scientific/mathematical book, an e-book, a spiritual/metaphysical book, a self-help book, a how-to book, or the type of book that involves true facts
or memoirs, then choose this option when requesting a free quote.
What Happens Next . . .
After we receive your request for a free quote, and you send us your manuscript, we will send you an e-mail with our price quote and the date when you can expect to receive your review notes. When you accept our quote, we will send you an electronic invoice for payment. Then we will begin working on your manuscript.

We will give you a written critique and evaluation of your manuscript in terms of the
following seven points for fiction or non-fiction.

- Plot and Structure. We provide feedback on whether your story has a strong plot and is structured in such a way as to sufficiently hold the reader's interest from cover to cover.
- Premise. We look at and address how you have conveyed the story's premise to see if it is interesting, unique, and believable.
- Grammar and Punctuation. We review your manuscript to determine if it contains frequent grammatical, punctuation or spelling errors.
- Characters. To successfully sell your novel, your characters must be believable and introduced with a clear purpose. Our evaluation looks at these factors for your primary and secondary characters.
- Dialogue. Our evaluation includes how you have written the dialogue for your characters. We make sure that it sounds authentic and is used effectively throughout the story.
- Resolution. At the conclusion of your story, we determine if you have sufficiently tied up all loose ends with each of the characters and events. We also determine if the story's conclusion is satisfying, or if you have ended it too quickly without resolving various elements.
- Marketability. We provide feedback letting you know if your story would appeal to a wide audience, or if your manuscript is better suited to a niche genre market.

- Structure: We evaluate if the content has been well organized, and if the topics within each chapter clearly present the information to the reader.
- Chapter Summaries. We examine how you have summarized the information at the end of each chapter. If submitting a completed manuscript, we determine if you have provided an appropriate conclusion in the last chapter that is meaningful to the reader.
- Grammar and Punctuation. We review your manuscript to determine if it contains frequent grammatical, punctuation or spelling errors.
- Author Credibility. We determine if the author has demonstrated his/her credibility in writing about the topic and subject area.
- Marketability. We provide feedback letting you know if your book's topic and content would appeal to a wide audience or if you have sufficiently addressed and written to a strong niche market.
- Overall Presentation. We provide feedback on your work's presentation, determining if the content is presented in an attractive, consistent and professional manner.
- Bibliography and References. We examine your references within the work, and verify that the text is supported by appropriate documentation that will further assist the reader.
